Spread the love

Are my dreams but an illusion…

A murky vision floating in my mind?

Are they hopeful dust bunnies

Hopping in a blissful field of possibilities?

Maybe it’s the dedicated honeybee,

Buzzing from one wishful flower to another.

A few lonely drops of paint,

Yearning to be mixed and blended

on a sad…empty canvas.

Maybe it’s the song in my heart

Longing to be sung aloud

Is it the story within me

Waiting to be told,

Unknowing what might unfold?

Something tells me,

It’s this slow burn

Growing inside me

Wanting to be set free

An impressive light

Burning bright and brilliant

No more hiding

It’s time to be bold

This post is only one small project that is in the works using this poem and illustrations. I have been a busy bee behind the scenes. I know it’s been a while since my last post and wanted to share a small part of some of the poetry and artwork that have been filling me with much joy in the past month or so.

I hope this blog post, podcast episode, poem and/or illustrations brought a little extra hope and joy into your day! Send much love and sunshine your way!!

      1. A lovely story of life, love, and nature, from female perspective. via the words of world famous poet/philosoher Neil Gaiman..

    1. Sa, I’m so happy that this made you smile! 😊 I’ve seen these really pretty illustrations on Pinterest within a shape and the aesthetic seems to really appeal to my senses recently. It’s been fun adding a new flair to my artwork. …I’ll have to double check…I think Redbubble where I sell some of my artwork on various items now has coasters as an item I can put my artwork on. I didn’t even think about that until you pointed it, but I definitely agree! ❤️❤️

      1. I just saw the coasters! Now the dilemma of deciding which of your artworks to put on them!😁 I’m glad that you’re getting inspired by other designs. Its influence leaves an imprint on your heart and fresh ideas are abundantly flowing like a river..🏞💙

      2. Lol…yes, I need to add some new designs to it. I think that sometimes others around me forget or don’t realize the time that goes into doing all the different things with my artwork. There’s a lot of editing/formatting behind the scenes (including with putting my designs on the products on redbubble). I’m going to be narrowing down my places where I’m spending my creative time. I think while it’s great to try new things…I can have my hands in too many “baskets” so to speak. 🙂

Absolutely, pintrest is a great place to get fueled up new ideas! 😁💙
