When we lean into curiosity and trust ourselves to follow our intuition, we find joy and inspiration in the most beautiful way! This week I waited and waited, looking for the right topic and the right time to record the next episode. Finding our creative process is important, but most important is just staying open and allowing yourself to be curious. If we’re willing to follow our curiosities without expectations and are willing to keep an open mind, there are sparks of creative flow waiting to jolt you with inspired action.
Ever since I can remember, as a kid, a teen, and as an adult, allowing myself to be playful, ask questions, and follow those little knowing nudges has never failed to provide me with inspiration and creative flow (usually in the most unexpected ways and times). It’s when I try to force things I feel frustrated and uninspired. I’m not saying, not to make time to dedicate and show up for your craft, dedication is important. However, try to create natural elements that bring you a sense of joy, relaxation, and playful curiosity.
Think about when you were a kid, building, drawing, and just playing for the sheer joy and excitement that it brought you, that’s the energy you want to show up with. Play some music, light some candles, incense, go outside in nature, change up your setting. Whatever works best to put you in a state of relaxation and joy, that is when those little nudges or jolts will get the wheels of inspiration flowing. However, even more, important is to trust yourself, those little nudges will lead the way to inspired action!
Wishing you a week ahead filled with curiosity, joy, and inspired action!
