Spread the love

When we lean into curiosity and trust ourselves to follow our intuition, we find joy and inspiration in the most beautiful way! This week I waited and waited, looking for the right topic and the right time to record the next episode. Finding our creative process is important, but most important is just staying open and allowing yourself to be curious. If we’re willing to follow our curiosities without expectations and are willing to keep an open mind, there are sparks of creative flow waiting to jolt you with inspired action.

Ever since I can remember, as a kid, a teen, and as an adult, allowing myself to be playful, ask questions, and follow those little knowing nudges has never failed to provide me with inspiration and creative flow (usually in the most unexpected ways and times). It’s when I try to force things I feel frustrated and uninspired. I’m not saying, not to make time to dedicate and show up for your craft, dedication is important. However, try to create natural elements that bring you a sense of joy, relaxation, and playful curiosity.

Think about when you were a kid, building, drawing, and just playing for the sheer joy and excitement that it brought you, that’s the energy you want to show up with. Play some music, light some candles, incense, go outside in nature, change up your setting. Whatever works best to put you in a state of relaxation and joy, that is when those little nudges or jolts will get the wheels of inspiration flowing. However, even more, important is to trust yourself, those little nudges will lead the way to inspired action!

Wishing you a week ahead filled with curiosity, joy, and inspired action!

  1. timely wise advice Jenna, you are speaking to the converted here but you’ve described it so well … that’s my lifestyle and maybe that’s why I seldom have to think about posts, they simply arise 🙂

    1. Exactly Kate! 😊 It’s definitely a wonderful state of creative flow and joy. ❤️

I’m trying to create as much of that in my life as possible…even when doing my least favorite tasks by adjusting the mood through music or whatever feels aligned in the moment. I used to do a lot more of this when I was younger naturally. I’m not sure when I stepped away from this exactly, but I know I’m bringing myself back into alignment in all areas of my life. I refuse to dim my light, as I know I show up as the highest version of myself when I honor my needs. Then I can show up and give from a full cup that is expansive and full of love.

      1. smart lady … sometimes our life gets too busy with layer upon layer of various distractions that separate us from our full potential 🙁

    1. That it does, creativity is a lovely essence with it’s own natural flow! 😘 I feel like this year is all about finding a new rhythm for myself that feels nurturing and supportive of my own unique energy and flow. 🥰🤗❤️🌹

      1. 😂😂Yes, that is definitely a good time for the force of rhythm to be with me! Now I can’t stop picturing myself as a music conductor waving their baton…I place of the light saber. 😘😂🥰

  2. I love these new podcast series, Jenna! It’s very calming listening to your sentiments. I enjoyed learning about Melody, your muse, helps inspire you at different times. I like how you drew the interdependent connection between Inspiration & Intuition. “Not allowing fear to take over your decisions” has been an overriding theme lately. Thanks again and see you next time! 🙂

    1. Thank you Sa! I’m so happy you’re enjoying them!😊

Yes, Melody is so delightful..except when she thinks it’s time to play and create in the middle of the night when I’m super exhausted. 😉 She knows that each time I’m going to give in and a least write the thought or idea down.😂

It’s interesting the connections we can make over time, inspiration and intuition truly are a dynamic duo.

Fear, now that’s a different character…I have named my fear Felicity, she means well, luckily she has Serenity to bring her back to a place of calm. The two feelings are as different as night and day, but balance each other out. Hehe so much fun to give a personality to my feelings, they are much more approachable that way.😁See you next time! 😊❤️
