Spread the love

In my story of Timeless Tales, the main character Margie is learning to believe in herself and the magic within her. She’s learning to trust her inner knowing, her intuition. This hasn’t come easy for Margie and there have been stumbling blocks along the way. It took her about a year of consistent signs from the universe telling her on no small terms that she needed to shift gears and try something different.

I know I can relate to this feeling of uncertainty and resistance. I had wanted to start this podcast for about three years before I got up the courage to even share the thought with anyone other than a few close friends and my partner. Looking back however, I realize now that the timing wasn’t right. Then, over the last few months I felt the nudges from the universe and started leaning into the feeling and trusting when things felt right.

I’ve been learning to quiet the Mental chatter that plagues each and every one of us. Times I feel most alive and connected to this feeling of inner guidance is when I’m tuned into doing something I love, like drawing or writing. Sometimes it’s when I’m meditating…which looks different for everyone. I have tried the basic version of sitting and getting still. This personally is not for me, give me a good guided meditation and I’m golden. 😉 Though my favorite way is getting out for a walk in nature.

Finding what works for you can be challenging, though if you stick with it and find what works best for you…I guarantee the journey is worth it!

P.S. Just in case you’re curious about checking out Margie’s story, here’s the link to Part 1 .

    1. Thank you Punam! 🥰
Yes indeed, recently I’ve found myself longing for longer and longer walks. I feel like my brain is like the work day is over now so let’s ponder every little thing. Self-reflection is great, though I think I’m learning to be more aware of the things that drain my energy and the things that ignite it. I’m learning to protect my time and energy with clear boundaries for myself and others. The natural helper, peacemaker, and people pleaser within me is not sure what to make of this new personal growth and confidence that is blooming 🤗💞🥰🌹

      1. Walks are certainly very therapeutic. Talking to self, being aware of the nature, time out from the noise around is so important.
So happy to know that this self reflection has led to your personal growth. Best way to move forward, my dear girl. 🥰🤗🌷💕

      2. My walks or workouts create to the tone and energy for my day or evening and set boundaries between starting the day and setting aside time to rest.

That it is for sure! 😊 ❤️🤗🥰

  1. congrats on the podcasts Jenna!

it is quite possible to quiet the mental chatter but it takes years of persistent effort and the beauty is once achieved it becomes available to retreat to at will 🙂

    1. Thank you Kate my dear! 🤗 ❤️

That it does, I find nature and drawing the time my mind releases all the inner and outer chatter and a deep healing calm washes over me. ❤️Finding the things that brings us to that beautiful retreat is definitely worth it! 😊

      1. I am, this new bravery and confidence I’m inviting in this year definitely has some of natural instincts screaming with the amount of trust and faith that I’m asking of it.❤️

I know it’s growth in the making, which isn’t lacking in growing pains.🤔
