Slumbering flower,
Awaken once again.
Turn thy face to the sun,
That your energy will be renewed.
Slumbering flower,
Night thy eternal essence,
Turn thy cheek to face the moon.
Let her light fill you once again.
For without both day and night,
Lifeforce balance would not exist.
Do not run from the shadows,
They too need the light.
A seedling in need of nurture,
To help you heal and grow.
Shadows are the masks we create,
To help us hide from view of the world.
An eclipse of time and space,
Veiled from the light within,
Creating the dimness we’re afraid to face.
The shadows lay in hiding,
Forever Longing to be seen.
Heartache in need of mending,
You say, there’s no point in crying.
Shadows of suppressed memories,
Trials and tribulations.
Your soul struggles to breathe,
Suffocated without your love.
Open your heart, you deserve love.
Let love shine through you
That you may once again bloom.

Do you remember me telling you that one of your poems made me think of one that I wrote? This is the one. I can’t remember exactly what it was that gave me that vibe, but I recall the sentiment of your poem made me think of this one.💗🥰
