Happy Friday, it’s time for a little Flashback!

I used to do these flashback’s every Friday 3 years ago, they were a lot of fun. They’ve been laying in the dust pile of old posts. I wanted to bring a little fun vibe this Friday. I’ve been feeling a little be on the heavy emotion side of the pendulum recently and have been doing many things to bring more laughter and lightness to try to bring some balance into my inner world.

I hope you enjoy this little flashback in time! Today’s flashback is all about taking a fun trip down memory lane and traveling back in time. Today’s travel through time will take you back to one of my favorite eras, the 1920’s. What era from the 1900’s do you find fascinating and why?

I can’t help myself the Roaring 20’s is one era from the 1900’s that downright fascinates me (it was a difficult choice between the Roaring 20’s and the Swinging 50’s). I don’t know there’s just something about the Gatsby Flapper style that I find alluring.

Check out this adorable 1920’s Gatsby hairstyle by Abby Smith from Twist ME Pretty. She has tutorials on how to do this hairstyle along with many other fabulously adorable hairstyles, I follow her YouTube channel and I’m addicted to her adorable hairstyles and fun bubbly personality.

You can find these adorable flapper dresses on unique vintage. I also found super adorable and budget worthy flapper dresses on Amazon or this adorable youtube 1920’s outfit DIY is truly the “bee’s knees,” Image result for winking emoji she’s got some fun tips on creating this fun retro look.

It truly makes me want to put on my glad rags (fancy clothes) and get my gams (a woman’s legs) out on the dance floor.

These dance moves are really swell (wonderful)!

Hey, nobody ever said you couldn’t put your own unique modern twist on a classic fashion trend…check out this diva from Chictopia rocking a flapper-inspired style with a modern twist.

Happy Friday my Time Traveling Voyagers may your journey into the weekend be full of rest, relaxation, and wonderful adventure!

      1. I agree…not that I don’t like things from our current era, but sometimes it’s nice to take a trends from the past.😉❤️

  1. This was so fascinating Jenna. I really loved everything you have put together, so reminiscent of 20s. 💕💕

    1. Aww thank you! It was a lot of fun to put together! 🙂
I think it’s always interesting to look at eras throughout history and the culture and personality of the time. Which I spose also why I find reading books with elements of history in them fascinating. 😉 💕

      1. It surely is wonderful to have a peep at the bygone era. Their clothes, their music reveal so much about them. There was a time I used to love historical romantic novels. ☺️
        You are welcome Jenna. 🌸
