Spread the love

Back at the North Pole Santa was busy preparing for the monthly gathering of the Guild of Legendaries when suddenly there was a jingle at the door. β€œCome in!” Santa cheerfully called. Holly the head elf urgently entered, her normally rosy cheeks flushed with concern. Santa’s eyebrows furrowed, β€œwhat’s the matter Holly?”

She walked anxiously towards the window and pointed towards the front entrance. There was a huge crowd of Santa’s penguin patrol armed with cannons of fish at the ready. He realized that his guests must be waiting outside at the gate. Santa laughed good naturedly and told Holly to send Mittens the messenger to tell his penguin patrol to stand down.

Santa had a knowing feeling that his newest troop of the penguin patrol were just eager to prove to Santa how brave they are. Mittens small, but quick, swiftly relayed Santa’s message. Santa watched the exchange from the window in his study as his troop disappointedly ushered the cannons away from the gate…that is, all but one determined little penguin. He was the fluffiest little penguin Santa had ever seen. Santa made a mental note to meet the little penguin as he greeted his guests.

PS the name Guild of Legendaries is up for discussion! πŸ™ƒπŸ˜‰

      1. Brilliant name for the group Kate! 😁 My hubby and discussed some options and I delayed publishing the post over not having a name that felt right…so I opened it for discussion for my creative friends πŸ˜‰β€οΈ

Yeah I figure Santa’s a pretty jolly soul so I wonder what sort merriment he gets himself into the rest of the year..lol 😁

    1. Thank you Kevin! If you’d like to save it and print it off for your granddaughter to color please feel free! 😊 ❀️

      1. You are welcome and they really sre. Have you seen the documentary March of the Penguins? My nephew went to Antartica for 3 months and I told him to bring me back a penguin. LOL!

  1. My dear Jenna,

Thanks for sharing this sweet story πŸ™‚

What you also told at the beginning is also very important. No matter from which country we come, which religions belong to – these are just our “social lables” in fact we are all human beings and as such we should also treat each other with respect and love.

Hugs and love my dear friend πŸ™‚
    Didi

    1. Thank you Didi my dear, I couldn’t agree more. Kindness and compassion….love and respect should be an automatic human response, it saddens me when I see or hear others acting otherwise. ☹️

Much love and warm hugs πŸ€— πŸ’— πŸ€— πŸ’—

      1. Indeed, my dear Jenna – I feel also sad when seeing that people are against people, treating them not as brothers and sisters – may there be a big awakening in the world…

Also for you much love and warm hugs, my friend πŸ™‚ πŸ€— πŸ’—
