Spread the love

It feels like a strange case of deja vu, 2 years ago my husband and I traveled to Nashville TN away from the path of Hurricane Irma. This year, only a week earlier than the last time, we’ve arrived out of the path of Hurricane Dorian.

10 days until my birthday, which I “celebrated” 2 years ago as Irma made land fall in Florida. I feel blessed that the outcome was far better than expected and hold the same prayer in my heart for Dorian.

All this aside, my husband and I have made some decisions for big changes to come. They are not all finalized as of yet, but I am ready to move forward on a new path.

Sometimes it takes big events in our lives to make us take action on things that are, “easier said than done.” We can’t live our lives in fear of the unknown, but have to lean into the discomfort and take the opportunity for growth that it provides.

I hope you’re all safe and doing well! I miss you all and wanted to make sure that you knew I’m safe out of the path of Hurricane Dorian.

Sending lots of light and love! 😊 πŸ’–

Here’s a flashback of photos we took while in Nashville Tennessee two years ago.

    1. Awww thank you Winnie, things have been busy….and now the hurricane. I’m just grateful that my husband and I are in a safe place, though our apartment is not allowed to be protected so that is a scary thought.

  1. Miss you terribly, Jenna! So glad you made it safely away. I’m sorry I am just now getting to this… So, please keep us posted on the big change. My wife and I feel we are on the verge of a major change in our lives too. You two are not alone! Light, love and hugs back atcha!

    1. I miss having effing time to spend on the things I love, such as my art, writing, and interacting here in the blogosphere. That is definitely part of what’s in the works to change. I pray that it happens smoothly and without too many hiccups and the changes we make bring much happiness and calm into our lives. It seems such a right time for change in the beautiful season of autumn that reminds us how wonderful change can be. Love, light, and hugs….I hope change finds you and your wife much joy! 😊 πŸ€—β€οΈ

    1. Thank you Kate, yes, we are both home in Florida safe. You’re spot on, plus we’re wrestling with where we’d like to move to settle down and buy a home of our own. We know it’s not in Florida, and though we miss our family in NY, that is not in our line of vision at this point and time.

I’m not sure what will come next, but my heart is open to new adventures and the opportunities that await us. β€οΈπŸ€—

  2. These pesky hurricanes can bring about change in more ways than one. Hope you are doing well! Change can be exciting and scary – please keep us posted! Sending you positivity in this new venture! πŸ’–πŸ’–

    1. Thank you Didi my dear! I’m doing pretty well, I hope you are well too!
Much light, hugs, and love πŸ€—πŸ’—πŸ€—πŸ’ž

      1. I am also fine, my dear Jenna – today I go to learn Spanish language that I started last year. All in all I do speak 6 languages now – I used to work also as a translator.
        Warm hugs πŸ€—πŸ’—
        Didi

      2. Oh that’s so awesome and exciting! I once thought about being a translator back in my school days. πŸ’– πŸ€— warm hugs

      3. Indeed, dear Jenna, to learn languages is very interesting since you come across different cultures and histories. That is why a language is alive and has roots in man itself.
Much love and light to you πŸ€—πŸ€—πŸ€—
        Didi

  3. I am sorry I missed your posts but they never showed up in my reader! Might have to unfollow and follow again! ☹️
Glad to know you both were safe. Whatever decisions you take, I am sure they will be good for both of you. Though change can bring its own troubles at times. Wishing you good luck and take care, my dear! πŸ€—β€οΈ

    1. No worries, I know every time WordPress makes changes things seem to get wonky. πŸ˜‰

Making the decisions sometimes definitely is a challenge in and of itself. Then again as we move forward I’m sure there will be more challenging moments that we’ll overcome. Thank you so much my dear!😊 ❀️ πŸ€—
