Spread the love

Okay, it’s pretty obvious I’m a huge Harry Potter fan. 😘 Anyway, I decided to write my own spinoff short story. I hope you enjoy it!

It was the day after Lunette’s 13th birthday, she sat eagerly awaiting the post. She’d been counting down the days since her 12th birthday. In the realm of Pipswig, 13 is a coming of age celebration for young a witch or wizard. It was the year they took their Art of Magic Proficiency test.

It decided their magical skills rank and provided them with their official license to practice certain types of magic based on rank. Going into advanced and masters level courses was based solely on your magic proficiency rank. A wizard could reapply once a year to advance their rank or add special classification skills to their license.

Lunette had taken her test first thing yesterday morning, too anxious and excited to wait a second longer than she had to. Now she awaited her dearest familiar Peppa’s postal delivery here to Durvenshire, the Prep School for Exceptional Young Witches. The next semester was about to start and Lunette was hoping to study Wandless Magic and Divination as her advanced electives.

PS there may be a follow in the works.

Have a wonderful rest of the week and weekend my magical rays of sunshine! ❀️

    1. Thank you Tom, it’s definitely a fun story and I believe I will turn into a short series perhaps. πŸ˜ƒ I’m doing pretty well, I hope you are doing well too! 😊❀️

      1. You’re welcome, dear Jenna! I’m getting better because I’m taking it slow. Thank you for asking. πŸ€—πŸ’•

      2. I understand, I’m still doing the same with my own health. It’s so important to listen to our bodies and take it slow one day at a time. πŸ˜ŠπŸ€—πŸ’•

    1. Lol…It’s definitely on the writing to do list. I need to start finishing old projects and before adding more new ones. πŸ˜‰πŸ€—β€οΈ
