Spread the love

Hello all my sunshine! 😊

I want to start by thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for always sharing your wonderful photos, stories, poetry and beautiful hearts and souls in your own blogs as well as here. It means more to me than I can even express.

I know I’ve had to take a step back over the last few months. I’m going to continue to post once weekly and who knows once in a while I will be able to do an extra surprise post here and there. I will do my best to make more time stop by and read your shares too as they truly do fill me with joy.

Now, for a little personal story I want to share with you…Tuesday when I came home from work I found this little beauty outside my apartment door.

The poor little dragonfly was upside-down fighting with all it’s might to get right side up. My heart melted at it’s inner strength and determination. I kneeled down next it and ever so gently helped the beautiful spirit that it is, turn over.

It stayed there for quite some time. I took the opportunity to to take an up close picture. I couldn’t be look it with awe and think how majestic this dragonfly is. It made me think how as individuals face our own struggles.

Some of us are naturally resilient like the determined spirit of this dragonfly. However, others are less determined and give up to easily. It was a gentle reminder that while life sometimes knocks us off course and seems to turn everything in our lives upside down to keep pushing forward. If we’re patient and don’t give up, the right opportunity will find its way naturally to us and help us find our footing once again.

I refuse to let the delphic trajectory

of my inner compass stymie me

At times it’s natural to hit a bump

That steers you off course

I welcome this surprise adventure

A chance to explore a new path

Of course my intrigue and inspiration didn’t come to an end there. I have a deep seeded belief that such encounters hold special meaning. So of course I did a little investigating into the meaning and significance of dragonflies. Did you know dragonflies are highly valued as a symbol of hope, strength, and self discovery?

Neither did, and to think that’s just the tip of the ice! πŸ€ͺ Seeing or dreaming about these beauties represents a sign of clarity to help push past our own self-doubts and inhibitions. It reminds us to live in the moment and connect with the universe to embrace the changes we need to make in our lives.

According to the Japanese culture, dragonflies represents victory, strength, and courage. In the Chinese culture they are seen as a sign of good luck, prosperity, and harmony. Taking all of this information and so much more I allowed my inspiration to continue to naturally flow and wash over me with clarity to create a reminder of the lesson this magical creature brought into my heart.

I hope the warmth of the lesson this magnificent creature flows from my heart to yours. Please know that whatever struggles you face, you’re not alone. Know that it’s okay to ask for help. Don’t give up the road ahead will naturally change, as all seasons do.

Have a beautiful and magical week. Please share your own little moments of lessons from nature that you’ve experienced, I’d love to hear all about them.

From my heart to yours, sending loads of love, light, and warmth to fill your hearts for a magical week of beautiful moments.
