What Do You See: The Lone Traveler Cloaked in the Night

Spread the love

Happy Monday my radiant sunshines!  Here’s my short story response to Helene’s What Do You See Challenge for February 26th-March 4th. After all, how could I not reply to this wonderfully enticing and enchanting image? It definitely fills me with a sense of magic, wonder, and fantastical plot lines.

The lone wizard traveled cloaked in the dark of the night. To the untrained eye, he appeared a fragile old man itching for a hot meal to devour and warmth to appease his aching bones on this cold wintry night. In truth, he’s a faithful confidant to her Majesty. He had pressing news from his long travels and was filled with an overwhelming desire to report his learnings to the Queen right away.

Have a magical Monday, may your week ahead be filled with wonder!
