Spread the love

Happy Wednesday my shining lights of energy! Here’s the 5th part of Lovanna’s Journey, she’s such a fiercely determined, brave, adventurous, and loving spirit who’s truly captured my heart as I write each part of her story.

If you missed out on any of the previous parts you can check them out here:

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

Part 4

Lovanna opened the castle doors and entered the grand hall, where she was instantly greeted by exquisite hues of blue and silver, that twinkled like the night sky, as it wished the sun good night. Little specks of gold melted into hues of velvety blue, dancing with glimmering silvery stardust. Lovanna twirled as she took it all in, feeling as if she was floating amongst the stars. Daylight wafted in through the open windows and reflected off the silver and gold like shooting stars.

Lovanna felt a sense of deja vu, as her mystical dreams seemed to be playing out in her waking life. The very thought sent tingles running down her spine, both eerie and yet surprisingly delightful. She drifted instinctively down the long corridor to her right. Closing her eyes, she focused on recalling her dreams to the forefront of her mind. Opening her eyes it was as though she’d been here before, a clear picture of what laid ahead, she knew she was heading directly towards the ballroom.

Lovanna had always loved the sweeping movements of such elegant dances. The swoosh of gowns in a tailwind swept along by precise and instinctive movements, the music coming to life with each purposeful step and rhythm. In her mind, she could feel the excitement of young ladies waiting to dance, of courtiers scandalously flirting, watchful eyes waiting for their opportunity to mingle with a particular guest. In her analytical mind, a ball was comparable to an artful chess game, always anticipating your next move, while trying to stay one step ahead of your opponent and honing in on their every move.

The color scheme hadn’t changed much as she wandered along the corridor and the presence of the sun’s hues continued to dip further into the night sky. However, as soon as Lovanna entered the ballroom, the color palette blossomed into a delicious spell of enchantment. The sun had disappeared and the moon sprang to life in elegant wood carvings along the vaulted spherical ceiling, where stars emerged playfully twinkling as they shot through the sky and down the walls, dipping into soft clouds that appeared to waltz across the sky, hugged in their swirls of twilight blue.

Lovanna caught her breath, spellbound by the magical atmosphere of the castle when all of a sudden she backed into something hard. Turning around she nearly jumped out of her skin as she realized there was yet another creepy statue! This one appeared to be a statue of a maid dusting. Lovanna slowly backed away afraid that she might somehow too be turned to stone. Thoughts raced through her mind, she wondered what was with all these very lifelike statues of people? What had happened here in this enchanting castle that had left such a haunting aftermath? She wasn’t sure, but she was even more determined to dig deeper and get to the bottom of this mystery!

I hope her deliciously magical and mystery filled adventure is filling you with as much excitement and anticipation as it is me. I love the whole process of bringing a story to life! This story has come with many twists and turns that I hadn’t even expected as I continue to let it flow naturally and freely. I hope you’re enjoying the ride along with me! Have a magical and wonderful rest of the day and week my shining stars!
