Hello, my lovely rays of sunshine I’ve been thinking a lot about my favorite tales of King Arthur’s Court and the Tales of Avalon. There’s such a treasure trove of tales and adventures around the Lost Land of Avalon and King Arthur’s Court that many of us can think of and remember with fondness. I hope my short story does justice to the romantic legends of King Arthur and the tales of Avalon!
At the inception of this journey, I made an oath, I would find the lost land of Avalon. Along my expedition, I’ve crossed paths with many naysayers believing I’d gone mad or was simply immature. But, they hadn’t found the hidden riddles so brilliantly disguised in the classic tomes of King Arthur’s tales. I learned to think like a knight setting out on his quest with an appetite for adventure and to have the passion for making discoveries like a timeless philosopher. I embraced this paradigm shift in thinking, ignited by the great tales of old. A resolution to uncover the truth, regardless of other’s abominable remarks…So here I share my story of an adventure, not yet told.
Among the ancient ruins of Glastonbury Abbey, I found the hidden temple of mystic tomes written by revered philosophers and magicians of long ago. All worry and self-doubt thawing away and filling my heart with gratitude. It was at that very moment, a vibrant display of lights caught my eye. My intuition was immediately enchanted by the warm glow coming from around the corner. I instinctively moved in the direction of the dancing lights as they beckoned me forward. Rounding the corner, my heart leapt with joy as I stood, basking in the light of Merlin’s enchanted globe, the final piece of the puzzle leading me to the heart of Avalon.
My very core was infused with currents of anticipation as I pulled out the gold and amber amulet that had been passed down to me through my mother’s bloodline. It was something that I’d always found magical and had brought with me as a talisman of good luck. I was jolted with shock as I saw the amber gems begin to glow and the locket sprang open revealing a hidden scroll. Without thinking, I began to read it aloud. Standing in utter bewilderment, the globe began to spin unveiling a secret doorway. I stepped ever so slowly towards it as it began to open. My soul in a state of yugen, tears filled my eyes as I beheld the most breathtaking view of the long lost Island of Avalon.

Thank you my lovely rays of light sending you lots of light and love!

Youβre welcome, Jenna! πβ€οΈ Iβm glad youβre back. How are you?
Getting better, I go back to the opthamologist tomorrow. Still experiencing some blurriness and pressure, but it’s way better than it was. I may be going to see another Specialist after my eye Specialist said he thinks that some other health problems I’ve been experiencing may be related and should be tested just to be sure, but I have faith that things will be fine either way.π€β€οΈ
Praying for you, Jenna! πππΌ
Thank you Winnie!π€ β€οΈ

Amazing story Jenna. Written with much emotion and passion. Thank you for participating
I did not receive your link…you did not include the proper link here at your site…you need to send it to the original prompt :
https://helenevaillant.com/2019/01/08/what-do-you-see-jan-08-2019/
I am doing the roundup today, please always come to check that your link is in the comment section. Otherwise I have no idea that you have posted to the prompt. Someone led me here to your post, otherwise I would not have seen it. hugs.
I will see make sure to fix the link. Thank you for letting me know.πβ€οΈ
You need to copy and past your post link into the comment section or pingback to the post….here is the proper link to do that. https://helenevaillant.com/2019/01/08/what-do-you-see-jan-08-2019/
It’s so weird because it seems like recently it doesn’t always create the ping backs properly. It seems like I will have to do a test on many links.
You are not using the correct URL for the ping backs. It needs to be the link from the original post at the site. You are using links from the blog reader instead. For instance todayβs prompt link is this one: https://helenevaillant.com/2019/01/15/what-do-you-see-jan-15-2019/ compare it with the link you would normally use and you will see the difference. π€β€οΈ
Oops that makes sense!ππ Thank you!π€β€οΈ
I answer all replies to the prompts, I did not get yours so you must of wondered why I did not reply to your post. I was so glad that someone led me to your post and I did not miss it.
I’m glad someone led you to it and that you didn’t miss it.π
Me tooβ€οΈ
I checked your other links in this post and they too do not show up in any of the roundups for all these challenges. You write such beautiful poetry Jenna. You need the original links of all these challenges in order to show up on the blog’s challenges.
Your links only lead to the (blog reader) posts. Good luck. I know it is complicated. You probably wondered why I was not responding to your posts. Sorry…big hugs to you.
Awww thank you for letting me know, I will have to figure out what’s happening and see how I can fix it. I may have to get my techie husband to help me, either way I’m sure it can be fixed.πβ€οΈ
