First, I would like to begin by thanking Carly for nominating me for the “Quote Me” challenge. Please be sure to check out her amazing blog where you’re sure to find loads of inspiration, wonderful stories, poems, and be drawn to her wonderful sense of humor! The topic for today is imagination.

Though the holiday season is drawing towards its end, I find a sense of joy, hope, and inspiration fills me knowing I can hold onto the warmth all the year long. Please let this post remind you that the magic of the winter season can last throughout the year as we bottle up and pass along enough warmth and joy to share with others throughout the next year to come.

This world is but a canvas for our imagination

Nature is such a beautiful canvas that tugs at my heart and sparks a flow of natural inspiration within my soul, whether it’s the first buds of spring, a beautiful summery beach scene, the colorful amber and golden hues of autumn, or the majestic glow of a wintry snowfall.

The first snow fall

As a huge Gilmore Girls fan, I can’t think of the first snow fall of the season without thinking Lorelai Gilmore’s fondness of snow and her magical connection with it.

Snow fall clarity

I think Lorelai Gilmore is a character that truly understands the sweet clarity that comes with the magic of falling snow. In this sense, I certainly feel a kindred spirit connection with Lorelai as I feel a deep sense of magic with the beauty of each season.

Here’s a poem in response to a few requests for a follow-up to my Poem “A Snowfall Wish” that truly does a sensational job capture the magic of falling snow. If you haven’t read it already, I highly recommend that you go back and check it out.

The Snowfall Promise

The first snowfall of the season heard my wish

She played a solo on my heartstrings

Soft murmurs of hope danced

To the rhythm of her lyrical tune

Her enchanting vibes promising

Magic and inspiration all throughout the season

I hope this post inspires you to hold onto the magic of the Christmas and winter season all throughout the year!

Lol I don’t love the cold aspect either, but I love the beauty that it can bring…when I was little I used to ask why we couldn’t enjoy the beauty of the snow with the cold 😉
