Here are my questions:

Why did you start your blog?

I originally started blogging as a place for people to come together and share the things that inspire them. I wanted others to know that embracing the things that light them up is important. I wanted to fill others with a sense of hope and light through my writing and art. I wanted to remind others that they are uniquely beautiful individuals who have something special to offer the world.

Embrace Your Shine!

If an angel were to appear before you while you were alone in your home what do you think your reaction would be?

I believe it would be one of my guardian angels coming to comfort me in a time of need, I would be filled with a sense of warmth, peace, and love.

Poetic Surrender

What frightens you the most?

Knowing that we’re not immortal and we each have a limited time on earth. It scares me, but at the same time makes me try to make the most of the time we have with our friends and loved ones and the good we can do in the world.

36 Amazing Motivational Quotes

Who is your greatest source of strength?

Maybe this sounds self-centered, but first and foremost myself as I’ve been with myself the longest and have had to work through many things that my friends and family couldn’t do for me. Beyond finding the strength within myself, my mom and my husband are my two main sources. Likewise, I feel very blessed to have many wonderful people in my life that fill me with a sense of love and strength.

If given the chance, would you go back in time and change anything about yourself, and, if so, what?

While I have been through many dark and difficult times in my life, those are experiences that have helped me become the person I am today, so erasing them would change who I’ve become and I am happy with and love the person that I’ve become. Therefore, I would have to say no.

What one word do you think someone close to you would use to describe you?

Bubbly, cheerful, creative, loving, kind, compassionate, empathetic (my husband would add crazy, silly, and quirky to the midst)…..though I quite like this word to define me

#flawsome

Though my personal mantra is “I’m a unicorn” because it reminds me to believe in myself no matter what…

Are you an introvert or extrovert?

As an INFJ personality type, I can appear to the outer world as an extrovert as I am naturally bubbly and have been told many times I have a contagious enthusiastic charm. I enjoy interacting with others in small groups or one-on-one encounters in deep conversation and meaningful interactions. All the while, my energy reserves get quickly lost in large crowds or chaotic environments and I seek the solace and comfort of solitude. I am one who finds comfort in and requires solitude to recharge my energy and restore my sense of self.

If you invited me to dinner what would be on the menu?

I would make a vegan lasagna (as trust me it is guaranteed to please). It is filled with healthy eggplant and kale or spinach, a delicious creamy vegan cheese, and homemade tomato sauce and organic tofu crumble with fresh chives. Served with a delicious garden salad of fresh greens, onion, garlic, basil, and sweet peppers on a bed of arugula, baby spinach, and butter lettuce with a homemade tangy lemon vinaigrette.

  1. Congratulation, my dear Jenna 🙂

Yum, yum, so I would come and eat with you vegan lasagne (I am a lacto vegetarian and often prefer vegan food) 🙂

For one thing I would like to give you courage: Our soul is imortal as we are from the same essence as that of God – all is already Oneness in the One but our mind and ego gives us the impression of duality and separation – one’s we have overcome this through living a life like the Saints and real holy people have lived as living examples, keeping all their commandments (if you love me, keep my commandment as Christ said too), then slowly we will dive back into the Ocean of Oneness, emptying us from ourselves so that He can take a seat in us. Sant Kirpal Singh wrote beautiful books about this, about our spiritual heritage, like “Naam or Word” or “Mystery of Death”, “Crown of life” etc… These books can be also read free of charge in pdf-format.

Once we get certain experiences – then we will know: we are immortal… Our mind must then be cleaned from all dirt, then we can enter the kingdom of God… at the same time this is a process of becoming more and more conscious through this self-analysis: “Men know thyself”

A big hug from heart to heart, dear friend
    Didi

    1. I’d glad share homemade vegan lasagna with you my friend!😊 ❤️

Thank you dear Didi for your gift of courage, after losing my dad at such a young age, knowing I won have my parents and grandparents or others that I love and cherish forever is sometimes a scary thought to swallow, but I know that’s they are not actually lost entire to me, but will be in God’s love and care watching over me.

Warm hugs and wishes from my heart to yours 🤗💞

      1. Thank you, my dear Jenna 🙂

We all are unique drops in the Ocean of God – the more we give trust to Him, the less we fear and when we surrender fully to Him, then there will be no more doubts and fears – we all are brothers and sisters in Him. According to the physicists: Nothings goes lost, all remains – all changes what we perceive is in fact Maya, an illusion, a dream – when we awake like we awake from our normal dreams then we are aware of it. Kabir said: “The whole world is sleeping…” but with one candle light thousands of further candles can be lit…

Warm hugs from heart to heart
        Didi

  3. Jenna… I knew you would have interesting, honest answers and wonderful art. You never disappoint! Thank you for participating! Dinner sounds delightful! My sweet wife has cooked us a no-meat lasagna and it was yummy!

    1. Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed reading my answers!😊 ❤️ Does your wife make the ricotta and cheese dairy free too or more of a vegetarian version?
I made my vegan lasagna recently and my husband was disappointed when it was all gone.😉

      1. Regular cheese… I picked up a cook book from Moosewood in Ithaca, NY when I was visiting a few years ago, and she loves it. We aren’t vegetarian, but I have enjoyed the meals that are!😁

      2. I’m from about 20 minutes away from Ithaca NY! 🙂 My mom and step-dad live 20 minutes from Ithaca, NY. I use a vegan cheese I make my own “ricotta” cheese, but I usually use a vegan non dairy brand of shreded cheese called daiya, it’s my favorite brand.

      3. It is beautiful, my husband and I say if we ever move back that is on our list of places we’d want live in NY.
