Spread the love

Hello, my radiant friends! I’ve begun weaving a fun Christmas Story that I’d like to share with you as we build up the excitement and anticipation of Christmas (just 4 more days)!

The Christmas Surpise 1

On Christmas Eve, Samantha awoke to the sound of a thump. Through her window came flying, a beautiful wooden box with intrinsic inlays of gold and the carved initials SP. From her bed, she sprang in a flash to the floor, where the little treasure box had crashed. She smoothed her hand over the enchanting ebony box and to her surprise, the golden inlays and carved initials began to glow. Realizing that the initials on the box were her very own, her eyes grew wide with wonder. What could this mean? She opened the box and couldn’t believe what she saw inside…

Come back for Part II tomorrow.

There’s lots of wonderful excitement that awaits you!

  1. Lovely read!

If you would like (and this is totally optional) I was going to link to your blog in my next Mystery Blogger Award, as a way of linking new readers together a little easier. There’s no need to do the 5-question personal quiz if you’d prefer not to, but would you like your blog signposted so new readers might check it out?

  2. A mystery! So this is the surprise this week!! The name Samantha always reminds me of the Victorian girl of the American Girl series. Imagining her opening the box is nostalgic and exciting! 😄

    1. Plenty more to come 😁…the writing is the easy part, doing all the artwork is a bit of to time consuming 😉

      1. well it is exceptional so well worth the effort, and not something I can help with … I’d have no idea where to start but I wouldn’t mind learning 🙂

      2. Awww thank you Kate!😊 I’m mostly self-taught. I took a few years of art in high school and college, but I’m honestly still constantly learning new techniques and I find my style changing over time. 😊

      1. Thank you Punam!🤗💞 A very Merry Christmas to you and your family and happy he!🎄❄️💞
