Luna awoke with a shiver
The air was filled with a chill
Her silver hair
A gleaming array
Of icy tendrils
She arched her back
In a luminescent lunette
Stretching out the stiffness
That had settled in her bones
The wintry night air
Cast a flame within her
The frosty winds
Provoking the blaze
That threatened to ravage her
Flakelets began to frolick
Enchantingly all around her
Peaking a view of
The night below
She found a
Mesmerizing wonderland
That stirred the embers
Dancing enticingly within her
Powerless against
The seductive sparks
Appetence consumed her
Electric currents of excitement
Coursing through her
As she embraced the
Magical midnight hour
Luna swooned in reverie
Seeing her lunar reflection
Waxing into the full Cold Moon
The stars melting below her feet
An enrapturing masterpiece on ice
Recently there seems to be a lively and enchanting go round of moonlight inspiration, and who can blame us?! The moon is so enchanting in all her glory, Luna seeks to entice and whispers sweet lullaby’s of inspiration as we sleep through the night, pouring creativity into our souls.
Make sure to check out some of my moonlight comrades who have been spellbound by Luna’s recent melodies!

Greatly penned, my dear Jenna π
I love the winter too – there is some kind of purity in the cold winter nights, when stars are reflecting in the snow like diamonds, when everything is silent and own thoughts start to get the shape of voices, when watching the dance of polar lights, aurora borealis, at the night sky, melting our hearts – this all is deep in my heart and I have written many winter poems as well.
Thank you so much, my dear friend π
Warm regards and hugs
Didi
