Surrendering
to a meditative state
I hear a little whisper within
But the message isn’t clear
Taking a few deep breaths
I attempt to re-focus
And find my center
Giving time to allow
The morning fog to dissipate
at the edge of the forest
Of lingering thoughts
The gentle lull
Of tree branches swaying
Gracefully in the wind
The sensation of being rooted
Like the old oak tree
In the center of the forest
The great pillar of knowledge
A journey through generations
A portal to the realm of ancient wisdom
The path of understanding and enlightenment
When your creative voice falters, surrender to listening to your inner voice it’ll guide you to a heightened level of understanding and enlighted inspiration. Don’t try to control it, just let it flow. Have fun with it and make time to get messy.
Happy writing, my your heart flow freely and your imagination lead you to a new path full of wonderful adventure!
This is what people mean when there’s strength in surrendering😊 All too often we like to be in control, but I guess we never know what we would miss along the way. Beautiful post!
Thank you Sa!😊 I agree when we surrender our inner voice shines through and our imagination is lit up to freely play and create. I’ve had to be reminded of this on quite a few occasions.😘
That’s beautifully poetically beautiful!
Awww thank you, so very happy you enjoyed it!😊
Smiles!
Just reading these words brings my heart peace. It’s like I can feel the breeze. Made me think of my character Miranda standing on the bridge lost in thought, from my post, Bridging the Gap. Your heart spreads warmth in this post. 🙂 <3
Awww thank you, I’m I’m happy it filled you with peace and that you were able to connect something personal to that feeling. I’m so happy I spread warmth through my post.😊❤️
You are very welcome, it is dreary here today, so keep spreading the sunshine! 🙂
Did you read about Miranda? Oh and if you read the comments you will understand about the alligator, which you may have done already! LOL!
I don’t think I’ve read about Miranda yet, but I will have to check it for sure.😘
This is soothing, Jenna! It is a sweet surrender. 😊❤️🌹
Thank you, Winnie! I quite agree. I often find meditation such serene surrender that leaves me feeling calm and in touch with the world around me.😊❤️🌹
You’re welcome, Jenna! Thank you for sharing your beautiful thoughts. 😊❤️🌹
🤗❤️
love this slow journey to enlightenment Jenna, it sends a message to be in touch with our world
Thank you Gina 😊 exactly, mother nature and the world around us is vital to our own existence and our enlightened selves understand the true value of all living things ❤️
Yes
Touching base with our inner self and submit to it is so important when we all seem to be in a mad rush. Beautiful poetic expression Jenna. 😊💕
Awww thank you Punam!🤗❤️ I agree take time to look inward and check in with our is important.😊
You are so welcome dear. 🤗💕
This is really lovely and I’ve had a look around, your art work is light and bright, love it! But can’t find a wordpress follow button here?
Awww thank you so much!😊 ❤️ I will look into that and get back to you soon, I’m not sure why it’s not showing up.🤔
no where to be found at all so makes it impossible to subscribe unless I do it by email and I don’t do that … it would clog the system!
I understand, I will definitely look into so that I can fix it. There should be a WordPress follow button, but I’m not sure why it’s not showing up.
you have to add it from widgets in the WP Admin section on your left!
It says it’s active, so I’m confused.☹️
ok finally found it in the reader … will revisit your actual blog site again to make sure it’s there!
Thank you! 😊
Nope only your email subscription and instagram … no follow button on your blog at all!
I’m currently not at home and can’t check it out from my laptop where I can get to all the control settings. I will make sure to check into it as soon as I can. I appreciate your help and letting me know!😊
best you know as without an easy follow most wont take the email option … but it’s your choice!
I’m happy to say, e-mail subscription down, the WordPress follow button is up between the about this page and my Instagram. 🙂
smart Jenna … am sure more are keen to follow just by pressing the button!
😊 I recently bought my own domain name and hosted independently…learning the technology is still a little bit of a learning curve 😉
lol I just paid for mine a month ago … but it was an easy transition from free WP site to paid 🙂
So glad you could sort that out coz it will make a difference 🙂
Since I went with WordPress through Bluehost, some of the background work has been a learning process. Though, I have to say having my husband who’s an IT guy helps for sure at times. 😉
lol that’s positively cheating an IT hubby!
But eh you gotta use all the resources available 🙂
Haha true! 😉
I’ve definitely learned a lot from him. He’s a encouraging me to use some basic tools to learn to code. Which to be honest, I really should do.
lol not in my league at all 🙂
I’ve been trying to learn new skills and really hone them as I go…a little at a time because it’s not something that comes naturally to me at all. 😉
good to you for trying 🙂
I figure it’s always good to learn new skills.😉
Just read this and it really resonated with me! The surrendering to anything is difficult except for writing…
I understand I’m always told by my husband how stubborn I am…which isn’t always a good thing 😉😇
I’m really glad it resonated with you…we all have things in our lives where this concept truly applies.😊❤️
