Three Things About Myself:

  • I originally started blogging as a way to create a space where individuals can come together and share all their creative passions and inspire each other. I was not sure what this would look like as I began my blogging journey.
  • Throughout the process, I’ve learned a lot about myself as an artist/writer and connected with my own voice and what lights me up.
  • I’ve found a wonderful family here in the blogging community and feel completely blessed and loved by all those that have come into my life and look forward to continuing this journey and expanding this family that’s so full of love, that encourages, inspires, and supports each other.
  1. I’m writing a romance novel that I hope to submit to hallmark.
  2. I live in the sunshine state but was born and raised in upstate NY.
  3. I hope to one day be a full-time artist/writer.

What is your favorite movie? This is a loaded question, as I don’t truly have a favorite…I love too many movies to have just one favorite. However, this time of year I love my Hallmark Romance Count Down to Christmas movies.

If you could visit one place in the world, what would it be? I have a rich I Irish heritage and would love to visit and explore Ireland.

If you could travel to any time period/moment – past or future – what would it be? I would definitely say the Renaissance period would be quite the adventure. I wouldn’t want to permanently stay there, but I think it would be a delight to meet some of my favorite authors and artists from that time period.

What would you invent to change the world for the better?

This is a tough question, maybe some sort of “eye-opening” goggles or glasses that would open everyone’s hearts to move beyond judgment and prejudice so that would help everyone in the world open their hearts and be kind to themselves and others. That everyone would realize that the world is not about possessions and money but living to the fullest building relationships and connections with others.

What movie or book character – from your favorite movie or book – are you most like? There are many I’ve completely connected with and related to… My first two that come to mind are Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter who is an artsy free spirit who owns her unique perspective of the world and Supergirl who loves to write as well as has a good heart and seeks help others and bring happiness to the world.

My Questions:

  1. If you had to sum yourself up in 3-5 words, how would you describe yourself?
  2. If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow what would it be and why?
  3. What’s a book that you’ve read or a movie that you’ve watched that had a big impact on you and why?
  4. What’s an adventure that you haven’t done yet, but would love to have and why?
  5. If you were to enter a parallel universe where everything is the opposite what would that look like to you?

    1. Thank you! 🙂 You’re welcome, if you’re able to participate I look forward to reading your answers. ❤️ 🙂

      1. Lol, no worries! 😂 Unfortunately for some reason things sometimes go straight to my spam box and I have to approve them. It’s something I try to check pretty regularly just in case. 😉

      2. I’ve checked the settings on my comments and can’t figure out why it happens.🤔🙃🧐

  1. Congrats! What an interesting name for this award…Anyway, I didn’t realize you’re writing a romance novel Jenna! That’s really exciting! I love Hallmark movies and romance novels. The last one I read was by Debbie Macomber which was a beautiful tale that made me cry. The power of words that makes you feel so much never ceases to amaze me.

I think the Renaissance period is so fascinating. The age of enlightenment is inspiring where so many artists were exploring a spectrum of ideas. I would invest in your eye-opening goggles. I’m sure you would find plenty of stakeholders to back you up! A new renaissance on the horizon…I think blogs can sorta be considered as those sort of glasses. 🙂

I hope you get to visit Ireland. From the pictures I see on Laura Bailey’s blog, it looks beautiful. I really enjoy listening to Celtic music and viewing their artistic knots

    1. I was hoping I would get to work more on my novel this week while I was off, unfortunately on my 2nd day of being off I got sick and didn’t start feeling better really until today. 🙁 Oh well, it’ll happen in it’s own time as it’s meant to. 😉

On the upside I got to catch up on my Hallmark movies and get some more inspiration for my novel! 😉

I agree the Renaissance era is so filled enlightment and inspiration it would be a rewarding and dynamite expereince to visit!

I love your perspective of blogging world as a sort of the eye-opening goggles/glasses and completely agree that it’s a wonderful movement in the making! 🙂

I love Celtic music as well, I frequently listen when I’m writing or drawing. The Celtic knots and symbols are trully beautiful to behold.

I’m not sure if you saw that I nominated you for this Mystery Blogger Award as well, I’d love to read your answers. 🙂 ….No rush on it either.

      1. Yes, let it happen organically! Sometimes, you can’t force things to happen as much as you may want to. That time may be used to gather inspiration like you said! 🙂

Thanks for the nomination! 🙂 I’ll get a draft going! I’m about to finish suicide awareness post, then thought about creating a link for Tales for Awareness for other causes.

      2. What an awesome idea, there are so many important topics out there that definitely need more awareness!

I agree, letting things happen organically is the way to go. After all, gathering inspiration is half the fun.😉

    1. Thank you Punam! ❤️
Indeed, there are too many wonderful movies, books, and characters…just limiting it to one would be wrong. 😉 😅💕
