Hello sunshines, I was nominated for the Freedom of Expression Tag by Hardip. He’s a wonderful writer who’s read and reviewed a broad spectrum of books, I assure you that you’ll enjoy a visit so head on over to check out his blog and find your next read.
TODAY’S TOPIC: HOPE
Remember there’s always hope, even in the darkest hours. Here I combined the story from Greek and Roman mythology of Pandora’s box and the magical world of Harry Potter, two stories that show even with all the darkness in the world, there’s still hope.
ABOUT THE TAG
Every Thursday Richa picks a topic, posts photos or quotes or lyrics or a poem or an article about the “topic” and nominates 3 bloggers, who in turn will post about that topic (in whichever way they want) and nominate 3 bloggers of their own, in order to keep spreading the motivation and inspiration of “FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION”
going. It’s all about you being the BOSS and choosing the best way possible to express and depict your understanding of the theme of the day. Definitely a lot of fun and worth joining in!
RULES
- Thank the Selector and do not forget to tag/create a “ping-back!”
- Attach the tag photo.
- Post about that topic (in whichever way you want – it could be a photo or a quote or a poem or an article) for the dedicated “Topic of the Day.” No rush!
- Select 3 bloggers to take part in “FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION” Tag! Let’s spread some positivity around.

The you, I’m glad you like it!☺️☀️
That is so beautiful Jenna. I liked your mixing up of mythology and ending it on a note of hope. Perfecto! 😊❤️
Thank you Punam! 😊 I played with multiple ideas before this one hit me as just right.😉❤️
mystical and beautiful, Pandora inspires a lot of poetry, yours was very original – i love the different voices and emotions of each stanza
I agree Pandora is a popular stop in Greek and Roman mythology with many variations of it in stories and poetry. It’s nice to stand out and show your own unique perspective on a popular tale. Hop is an emotion so raw and dear to each and every one of us and I wanted to make it shine.😊 thank you Gina for your kind thoughts and feedback ❤️
I listened to an interesting sermon one day about hope that was left in the box and that concept stayed with me. hope is elusive because it is still in the box, it is the one thing we all well “hope” for. I think we can get a lit of inspiration as well as moral guidance from these old masters. your take gave me some good thoughts
I agree these stories are there to offer a reference for guidance. 😊
Great poem about hope, Jenna! You gave us something to ”hope” for. 😊❤️
I’m glad! 🙂 ❤️ Hope is something we all need to keep a little extra light in our pocket for a dark and dreary day. 😉 ❤️
