Happy Friday, it’s time for this week’s Fun Friday Flashback

Every Friday I will post a questionnaire, photos, quotes and/or a poem on a specific “topic” taking us back in time and nominate 3 bloggers, who in turn will post about that SAME topic (with their own unique spin) and nominate 3 bloggers of their own, spreading the“Fun Friday Flashback” and send them traveling through time and space.

It’s all about taking fun trips down memory lane and choosing the best way possible to travel back in time. Today’s travel through time will take you back to your favorite childhood social trends.

Fortune Teller of Encouragement Jenna Gee

My friends and I as kids spent a lot of time making fortune tellers and “reading” each other’s fortunes. I made these with kids at summer camp with so many adorable themes, they all had a blast, what a fun trip down memory lane for me!

I also remember making slambooks with my friends and trading them for the weekend to fill each other’s out.

I found this cute BFF Slambook on Amazon (oh sweet memories)!

It doesn’t quite have the same vibes as making up your own fun questions and having all your closest friends answer them and fill them out. But the sentiment is still there.

And for my final favorite social trend, I enjoyed with my friends growing up was writing notes to friends and folding them into of funky designs (kind of like origami for the note passing).

  1. This is great, Jenna! It was the same social trends when I was in high school. I still have the slambook, you know. I have to look for it in a while so I can share it here. 😄 Thank you for selecting me. 😊❤️

      1. I have it! It’s only simple, okay? My goal then was to get more details about my crush. 😂.

Awww! Sorry about yours. I still have mine since I’m a great keeper of past memento. 😉

  2. This is wonderful! Thanks for nominating me Jenna!❤

Though I’ve still kept my past memoirs safe (Read : Obsessively) – they are all back home in India. Lemme see what I can churn up for this tag! 😉
Will participate once I am back from the vacay.

  3. This is absolutely fun Jenna! School memories are the most treasured ones. Thanks for sharing. 😊❤️
