The Musical Muse: Heart of a Musician by Jenna Gee

Hello, my lovely rays of sunshine! 🙂 Here’s a little story full of magic, inspiration, and intrigue!

I stood up hearing the beautiful flow of violin music playing somewhere in the distance. Thinking to myself, “how can it be that no one else seems to notice?” I found myself frantically searching for where it was coming from. I was stunned that nobody else here in the library seemed the least bit disturbed or curious. Then the thought came, “maybe you’ve gone mad.”

Shaking my head, I knew there had to be a good explanation. I continued my curious exploration. I followed the sound of the violin as the harmony seemed to become louder and louder. As I rounded the corner, I saw a soft yellow light pouring out from the edges of an aisle of books. I walked faster, my heart thrumming to the same rhythm as the violin in the near distance.

Finally, I reached my destination, but there I stood in utter confusion. The music had stopped, there was no one else around. The thought again entered my mind, “maybe you’re going mad.” But as I walked down the next aisle sitting on the shelf was a book emitting a soft glow of light. I hesitated for just a moment, then gently picked it up, the title read, “The Musical Muse: Heart of a Musician.”

    1. Thank you Punam! 😊 I’ve always loved the violin and have always felt this sense of wonder and magic when I watch or listen to someone play the violin. Yes I was listening to and watching Lindsey Stirling and it was truly inspiring.🌹❤️

      1. Music can be so inspiring. My son wanted to learn violin but then settled on guitar. My daughter plays the piano. So I can truly understand your passion for music. ❤️❤️

      2. That’s wonderful the connection your family has with music, it’s such a wonderful outlet to express ourselves (whether through playing, writing, or listening). ❤️ 🙂

    1. Thank you so much, I’m glad you connected with it. I have an honest passion and love for the violin..it’s called to me since I was a young girl. I really wanted to learn the violin, but we had a large family and the budget was tight. My mom passed on her love and musical talents to me through her trombone that she treasured playing in band as a kid. Music is a part of my creative spirit…The connection of music is infused with our souls and is a little muse that speaks to each of us as individuals.

      1. I admire anyone who can play the violin its a very emotional sound, you show such perseverance for something you really love and that’s so wonderful to read and appreciate more about you.

      2. Thank you. 😊 I agree the violin is a very expressive instrument. Do you play any instruments?

    1. Me either, but it’s on my bucket list of things to do. 🙂 After all, we’re never to old to learn something new. 😊❤️
