Hello sunshines, welcome to the weekend!
I’m so touched and sincerely delighted to have been nominated by Richa from iScriblr for the Random Acts of Kindness Award! Thank you so much Richa, I’m deeply moved! Richa’s become a wonderful friend here in the blogging community, her posts are passionate, inspiring, and genuine. Her warm heart comes through in each and every post. Be sure to stop by, I assure you, her creative, spunky, and charismatic personality are sure to charm you!
I started my blog here in the WordPress community back in July 2017. In the beginning, finding my voice as a blogger was a struggle. In January of this year, I began to focus on topics close to my heart, which has helped me connect with so many wonderful and inspiring bloggers. It’s been a place where I feel empowered by the supportive presence of kindred spirits who aren’t afraid to be vulnerable and authentic, or if they are afraid they don’t let their fears hold them back.
“With courage and kindness, you can change the world!” -Bear Grylls
The journey of finding so much genuine kindness has helped me grow as an individual, as an artist, and as a writer. I’ve reconnected with my passion for writing and poetry that had been laid aside, buried and abandoned within me for so long. I’ve taken on the journey of finishing a novel that I started years ago, as a direct result of the powerful support, compassion, and kindness that I’ve received post after post! It makes me happy and proud that I can share in and be a part of this community spreading the kindness and paying it forward!
