I’m super excited this morning! I just bought and received these super cute yoga/barre non-slip socks and felt inspired to share them you, along with my Monday workout videos for this month.

The socks fit nicely and are soft and super cute! I’m very happy with my Panda Paw Fit yoga, pilates, barre non-slip/no skid socks with grips! πŸ˜‰

If you’re into barre or ballet (or have ever been curious about either of them), you should totally check out Lazy Dancer Tips. She’s so adorable and offers a lot of quick and fun workout videos for that target, tone, and strengthen your body. The best part is there are some for every fitness level!

I try to do a little barre/ballet each day along with a nice yoga flow. The above yoga video is by Brett Larkin, she’s become one of my many favorite Yoga Youtubers. She has a great arrangement of videos to choose from in many different yoga styles. If you’re a yogi or have ever been curious about yoga, she’s got some great videos to get you started on your level as well as to allow you to explore a variety of different yoga styles.

I find yoga especially helps me mindfully prepare for each day because it’s all about being present in the moment. There are many different ways to practice mindfulness, in the shower focusing on the feel of the water on your skin, taking a walk noting the sounds around you, or while you eat savoring each bite slowly noting the flavors and textures (which also helps your brain and body register the food your eating to help you feel satisfied). However, for me personally, I find doing a way to help me mindfully welcome the day all the while centering my mind, body, and spirit. It helps me feel ready and alert, appreciative of the little things, and fills me with peace.     Recently I’ve been looking for places where I could join a yoga group actually, so your post is rather well timed. I have a routine that I can do at home, but I’d like to try the group environment as well.

    1. I understand, at the end of last school year I was looking for a local one to join a class that worked around my schedule and that was somewhat convenient, but couldn’t find anything. Then today with the first day back to school my school is offering a yoga class 2x per week right after school for an hour, it’s free for the first month and $12 a month after. Such a great deal I’m going to be starting the first day on Wednesday, so perfect for my needs! πŸ˜‰

    1. I’m super excited because one of my schools is offering a yoga class 2x per week after school…the first month is free and only 12 dollars a month after that…I’m so in!πŸ˜‰πŸ™
