Good morning my lovelies! π
Today I’m feeling inspired by the beautiful koi fish. In the Japanese culture, the koi fish is highly respected and closely intertwined with the Japanese national identity. The koi fish is an emblem of luck, prosperity, and good fortune. I personally believe that in life we make our own luck.
The koi fish is a perfect example in the journey of making its own luck, a specimen known for always continuing to push forward. The koi fish is always moving upstream, never just settling for “going with the flow.” Their character is connected with strength in the face of adversity, never giving up hope, owning their purpose through great perseverance.
I’m a huge fan of Rachel and Jun on YouTube, they are an adorable couple with so much to share. You should totally check out their YouTube as I believe you’ll become fans as well! π Rachel recently did a Modeling expedition for the amazing fantasy gown designer JoEllen Elam you should totally check her out on instagram, her designs are sensational!
Watching Rachel do this photoshoot made my inner child light up with the magic and wonder of being a fantasy princess, even for just a day…granted I’m a magical unicorn spreading a little sunshine every day! π

I want to leave you with this question, how can you be like the koi fish and make your own luck today?
