Spread the love
Hello, all you radiant lovelies! 🙂
A few weeks ago at summer camp, I put together an art project for the kids to do that focused on what lights them up and makes them feel happy like sunshine. I called it the Sunshine in My Pocket Project. They had so much fun doing it (me included)! I wish I had taken pictures of some of their’s, but at least I have the one that I did to share.
We even each went around and shared what each part symbolized to us. For me, I see the world as a fresh canvas or a blank page waiting to have its story written and illustrated each and every day. I’m definitely a bit of a free spirit as I enjoy my freedom to express myself creatively. These are just a few of the unique things that light me up and fill my pocket with sunshine.
I hope you found this inspiring, I’d love to hear what lights you up and fills your pocket with sunshine.
To go along with this post I wanted to share my results because I felt they were so accurate and definitely describe the essence of the art project I shared.
My Results: Honey Yellow
Your spirit is bright and warm, like the sunshine on a warm day. Your choices show that you care deeply about others, and you enjoy spreading your positive outlook. Honey yellow has warm and radiant connotations, and it is a great spirit color for your cheerful and compassionate personality. Enjoy spreading sunshine with your beautiful soul.
I feel like this truly describes me as the bright cheery person that I am, who enjoys spreading sunshine to others (after all laughter is contagious). 😉
If you decided to take the little quiz, I’d also love for you to share your results with me and if you feel like the results suit you.
As always thank you so much for stopping by and I hope this post made your day a little brighter! 🙂

Spread a Little Sunshine Wherever You Go
Such a wonderful project! I’m sure the kiddos must have had a great time!❤️
Absolutely, it was only supposed to be like a 30-45 minute craft, which ended up running twice as long because they were so into it! 😉
Hahaha.. I can imagine! 😉
I’m trying spread that positive self-reflection from an early age and what more fun way to do it than through an art project where you can express yourself freely in your own style. 😉
You are a kind soul – Not many do what you are doing! It’s a blessing to know you!❤️
You know what they say do more of what you love an what lights you up! 😉 ❤️ Spreading happiness and helping others find what lights them up makes me feel good that I’m putting a ripple effect of self-love into the world. When we love ourselves we believe in ourselves and have a more positive energy in the world to help and inspire others.
You reminded me of this quote, that I’d read a while back –
“She made broken look beautiful
and strong look invincible.
She walked with the Universe
on her shoulders and made it
look like a pair of wings.”
― Ariana Dancu
Awww thank you so much, that means a lot to me!❤️❤️ 🙂
It’s right up there with when a teacher friend told me that I’m magical and glitter should be shimmering all around me because I light up the room as soon as I walk in or a when a guidance counselor told me that talking to me is like receiving a warm hug. All of the above are high compliments that I remind myself of on a day when I’m feeling a little sad or having a rough day. ❤️❤️❤️
I agree! You are doing a wonderful job at it! 😉❤️
