I closed my eyes taking in the light lemony zest mingled with little bursts of fragrant lavender. In my mind, I envisioned being hugged by the warm summer sun while dancing happily in a field of lavender. I couldn’t help eating my entire cookie this way. The whole experience was altogether delicious and made my toes curl in pure delight. I wanted to capture the vision of the lavender dancing in the sunlight. At that moment, I wanted nothing more than to draw and photograph it, it was so beautiful, it took my breath away.
I hope this illustration and excerpt from my book leaves you tingling with positive energy and inspiration all day! Have a wonderful week ahead my lovely rays of sunshine! 🙂
