I’m a huge Harry Potter fan, according to the test on Pottermore my house is Gryffindor and my Patronus is a fox.

An individual’s patronus is their inner secret self only awakened and brought to light as needed. For example, when confronted with a true evil, such as a Dementor. However, one’s patronus can change throughout one’s life, as the individual continues to grow and change. Each patronus is unique to their creator. It’s said that those that create a fox patronus are adaptable and independent in nature. You can discover your own Hogwarts house and patronus on Pottermore.

As a spirit animal, the fox is cunning and can easily find it’s way in tricky situations. It’s quickness, shows adaptability and is also known for its sharp mental skills; analytical intelligence, the power of deduction, and observation. In many cultures, the fox is symbolized as witty, quick, and intelligent. The fox as a totem animal is able to understand that wisdom is found in humor. There’s a lot of interesting information on fox symbolism on What’s My Spirit Animal or you can even take there test to find out your own inner spirit animal.

What’s your patronus or spirit animal? Do you feel that the results that you received fit your personality well? I’d love to hear about your patronus or spirit animal in the comments below! 🙂

  1. So I was just browsing, and this made me feel nostalgic! Huge Harry Potter fan since I was 12, but I never took any of these quizzes on Pottermore before. So yesterday, I found out I was a Ravenclaw with a White Stallion as my patronus. I have a wand made from vine wood and unicorn hair. Also, I’m in the Puckwudgie house in Ilvermorny School in America. 🙂

Apparently, it seems like my spirit animal is the ever-faithful dog who remains at people’s sides through thick and thin. “Unconditional love, loyalty, and forgiveness.” This was loads of fun, Jenna! Thank you for sharing this on your site. I think it will make me dream of fan fiction related to my discovery. <3
